We are passionate about teaching mathematics, and have put together a team of professional educators, mathematicians, and computer scientists to make the program we always wanted a reality.

Alexei Miasnikov is a Distinguished Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology, where he was chair of its Mathematics Department. 

A leading international expert in geometric and algorithmic group theory, model theory, computer science, and cryptography, he was an Inaugural Fellow of the American Mathematical Society and received the prestigious Malcev prize from the Russian Academy of Sciences for lifetime achievement, particularly his solution for Tarski’s problem on the elementary theory of free groups. He is also the recipient of the Microsoft Research Fellow Award and is the former Canada Research Chair at McGill University.  

He holds a Master of Science in Mathematics from Novosibirsk State University, a Ph. D. from Leningrad University, and a Doctor of Science in Mathematics from Novosibirsk State University.

Alex Myasnikov is a computer scientist and mathematician who has spent more than a decade researching ways to improve student learning experiences and teaching effectiveness.

He is a former Associate Teaching Professor at Steven's University. He has also held senior positions in the Magnus Software project with the New York Group Theory Collective, and in Umbanet, a computer security company sponsored by the Advanced Technology Program at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Along with Alexei Miasnikov, he is the recipient of a New Jersey Inventors Hall of Fame Award for Advancement of Innovation & Process.

He holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering, and a Ph. D. in Computer Science from the City University of New York.

Victor Lawrence, Ph. D.

Victor Lawrence is the Bachelor Chair of Electrical Engineering and Associate Dean for Special Programs in the Charles V.  Schaefer, Jr., School of Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and has worked in the information technology and communications field for more than thirty years. 

Prior to joining Stevens Institute of Technology, Victor was Vice President of Advanced Communications Technology at Bell Laboratories and Lucent Technologies. 

He holds more than 20 U.S. and international patents and has had more than 45 papers in referenced journals and conference proceedings.

Carl Page is a highly skilled computer scientist and clean technologist, currently serving as President of the Anthropocene Institute, which develops partnerships between entrepreneurs, institutions, and investors.

He is a highly sought-after entrepreneur and advisor to numerous technology, internet marketing and emerging clean-tech companies, as well as a prominent investor in both hi-tech and clean-tech ventures.
