Gradarius launches expanded problem types for Sequences and Series and Multivariable Calculus
Chicago, IL, July 26 - Castle Point Learning Systems, LLC (CPLS) launches expanded content and functionality for Gradarius™—the world’s first Stepwise Calculus Learning Platform—at the 2017 MAA MathFest in Chicago, IL.
Among their offerings, they are launching new enhanced Sequences and Series problem types that offer free-form problem solving. Andrew Stump, Manager of Content Development, explains, “These problems provide a smart way for students to show their work.”
Harnessing advances in online learning and symbolic computation techniques, Gradarius can allow students to solve Sequences and Series problems—which are solved in a manner akin to proofs and are naturally very open-ended—in multiple ways just as a student would be able to do on paper.

In addition to the Sequences and Series problem types, they are previewing new Multivariable Calculus problem types that demonstrate the power of the Stepwise Calculus Learning Platform—an offering the company plans to expand. Based on extensive customer feedback, Gradarius is also launching new problem collections that offer expanded flexibility for instructors to choose problem types—making it much easier to choose problems for their courses.

ABET is the premier professional accreditor for programs of engineering in the United States.

Gradarius and Worldwide Center of Mathematics Launch Integrated Product and Service Offerings
New Partnership Offers Aligned Differential and Integral Calculus Learning Experiences
Columbus, OH – August 4, 2016 – Today Gradarius and the Worldwide Center of Mathematics launched the first two of a planned series of Calculus learning modules at MAA MathFest 2016. The two Gradarius Content Modules are based on the Center’s Worldwide Differential Calculus and Worldwide Integral Calculus digital and print textbooks and will be available later this month.
Gradarius is the world’s first Stepwise Calculus Learning Platform. Gradarius provides students with engaging online learning experiences that teach and reinforce logical step-by-step problem solving methods. Students are encouraged to “show their work,” in a similar manner to solving Calculus problems on paper, and receive meaningful feedback and guidance during each step of the problem-solving process.

In addition to Differential and Integral Calculus, the Center’s Calculus offerings include Pre-Calculus, Multivariate Calculus, Differential Equations with Linear Algebra and Calculus resources designed specifically for high school students.
