Dr. Victor Lawrence
Dr. Lawrence is the Bachelor Chair Professor of Electrical Engineering and Associate Dean for Special Programs in the Charles V. Schaefer, Jr. School of Engineering, at Stevens Institute of Technology.
He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and has worked in the information technology and communications field for more than thirty years. Dr. Lawrence is an industry leader in digital communications R&D and services, an entrepreneur,
an active member of engineering professional organizations, an author, and a teacher who has extensive international experience.
Prior to joining Stevens Institute of Technology, Dr. Lawrence was Vice President, Advanced Communications Technology, Bell Laboratories, and Lucent Technologies. He led the development of technologies that go into the most innovative, reliable, and cost-effective communications networks for the leading telecommunications service providers. He has supported Lucent's businesses with a staff of about 500 leading technologists and a budget of about $100M.
Dr. Lawrence is an advisory board member at New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD) – an economic development program of the African Union. He is also an advisor to USAID Africa and a personal communication advisor to the Offices of the President of South Africa and Ghana.
Eugene Chen is a business development advisor with more than 20 years of experience in international business development, marketing, manufacturing and materials sourcing. Eugene has a diverse background in technology, telecommunications, Asian business, and raising money for start-ups. He works with the Anthropocene Institute (www.anthropoceneinstitute.com) and the Page family (Alphabet), advising on investments in technology. He has consulted for early stage pharmaceutical companies, electronics, avionics, satellite navigation equipment manufacturers and others in development of relationships in Asia and Europe.
Eugene was a founding team member in the development of the concept and business plan for ViNetworks, a next-generation data center project in Vietnam, developing carrier relationships in Asia and the U.S. and establishing alliances with sales and marketing partners.
He advised on market entry for Zenergy Power Inc., developers of the first commercial product using Low Temperature Superconductor technology, introducing the DC Induction Billet Heater to Alcoa, Kaiser, SAPA in the U.S. and Europe.

Dan Kaminski is Co-Founder & Chairman, of Global Finance Links, an investment bank specializing in technology, Ed-tech, fin-tech, healthcare, biotech, clean energy, defense & security, and infrastructure. Mr. Kaminski has established GFL as gatekeeper and premier referring agent for
Barclays Capital PLC (London) and Barclays Capital (NY). He has also forged core strategic partnerships with major banks, funds and corporations in acquisitions, financings, business opportunities, and investment.
Mr. Kaminski previously served as managing director and chief executive officer for Marco Polo Group’s European operations. There, together with NYSE, the IFC and Daiwa Securities, he established the world’s largest trading platform for equities and derivatives with activities
in 72 countries.
Prior to that, Mr. Kaminski served as director of venture financing at Lucent Technologies, where he worked in partnership with DARPA and key industry leaders, overseeing a special unit identifying and commercializing non-core technologies supported by institutional investors.
Mr. Kaminski is a recognized world leader in identifying, financing and rapid deployment of breakthrough technologies. He sat on Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Investment and Grants Committee on New Technologies in Thames Valley, and served as Director of Hamilton Parker in the UK, advising on the strategy of building Sony’s Semiconductor business operations in Europe. He served as lead advisor for Cambridge Consulting’s Alpha Mosaic’s acquisition by Broadcom. Mr. Kaminski was also founder of several technology and data security companies in Israel that went public in the U.S. as well as founder and CEO of one of the first Internet service providers, later sold to Bezek (Israel Telecom).
Mr. Kaminski is a member of the Intellectual Property Committee of Stevens Institute of Technology and is a board member of the Stevens Venture Center.
